Northwest Ohio's Country
The home of 60 Minute Music Hours
Hi, I'm Big Riggs. I grew up in northwest Ohio. I'm a graduate of Northwood high School, home of the Rangers, and I attended Penta County. I then went to Ashland University and graduated from there with an associate’s degree. I studied Electronic Media Production and was a student athlete member of the football team as a walk-on. While at AU I was involved in the WRDL-FM and WRDL-TV2 campus stations. I transferred back home after three years and continued my studies at the University of Toledo, in the communications department, in the college of Arts and Sciences. I participated at WXUT briefly while at UT. After a short time at UT I left school. I re-entered the classroom a few years ago and completed my Bachelors degree last spring. I got married in to my beautiful wife 2009. My Dad passed away in ‘96, and my Mom is still living. I have three brothers, Jamey, Bill and Chad. I have traced my family roots to Germany on my Mom's side and to Tennessee on my Dad's side of the family. I am a member of Ohio Genealogical Society and the Lucas County Chapter of the OGS as well as the Genealogy by Computer Society of Toledo. I am also a board member of the home owners association my wife and I live in. I also have taken an interest in American Sign Language.
