Research found that weight loss apps actually work.  But there's a catch - they're only effective when paired with diet and excercise coaching.  In the study, people in a weight loss program who attended regular support sessions and used an app to keep track of their daily calorie intake and physical activity, lost 15 pounds over the course of three months (and kept it off for a year).  Do you use any weight loss apps?  Which ones?  Do they work for you?  How else do you use technology to help you stay in shape?
