FREMONT - The Kern Center at Terra State Community College offers a variety of non-credit classes and seminars.
Here is the schedule for arts, crafts and hobby classes this winter-spring:
• Ballroom Dancing, Level 1 - Instructors: Tim and Annessia Nyman. 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays now through March 4, or March 25 through May 6. Cost: $80 per couple
• Ballroom Dancing, Level 2 - Instructors: The Nymans. 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays now through March 4, or March 25 through May 6. Cost: $80 per couple
• Basket Weaving Basics - 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Feb. 5 through 26. Cost: $60, plus $35 materials.
• Basket Weaving with Wooden Bases - 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, March 19 through April 9. Cost: $60, plus $35 materials.
• Beginning Sewing - 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays from May 7-21. Cost: $49
